The Role
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Legal Advisor for Africa who will work with local Moroccan and Tunisian teams and the HQ legal team, managing the day-to-day legal implications of the business in the African region.
Key Responsibilities
- Report to the Africa Lead Lawyer and serve as the main responsible for Morocco's legal functions
- Elaborate, review, and analyze all types of commercial agreements
- Provide legal advice and ensure compliance with regulations applicable to Glovo's business (privacy, labour, compliance, regulated products)
- Collaborate with external law firms and support in the analysis and implementation of strategies
- Support implementation of corporate governance policies, special projects, and reporting functions
- Participate in due diligence, evaluate risks, and elaborate corporate documentation
Required Qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience in the legal department of a company and/or reputed law firm/Big 4
- Proven experience in commercial law, consumer & antitrust, and labour law
- Excellent English, Arabic, and French language skills
- Ability to navigate across multiple geographies and cultures, coordinating with all areas within the organization
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- International profile with ability to work in a flexible, collaborative, and multidisciplinary environment
- High energy, creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and desire to work in a growing and changing environment
