Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Simulation Engineer to support our team in the field of stiffness simulation. You will work on independent creation and modification of simulation models, perform calculations, and support assemblies throughout the entire development process from concept to series production.

Main Responsibilities

• Create and modify simulation models using ANSA, LS-DYNA, ABAQUS, Animator, and custom software tools
• Perform and validate calculations related to stiffness, strength, misuse loads, and durability
• Document and present results, coordinating with development partners, customers, and project management
• Develop and implement optimization proposals for improved performance
• Support assemblies throughout the entire development process from concept phase to series production
• Collaborate with colleagues and other departments including design and testing teams

Required Qualifications

• Completed technical or scientific degree in automotive engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or comparable field
• Experience with FEM systems such as LS-DYNA, ABAQUS, ANSA, or Animator
• Business fluent English skills
• Independent and structured way of working with quick comprehension and reliability

Preferred Qualifications

• Programming skills in TCL, Python, or Bash
• Experience in the automotive industry and complete vehicle development
• Strong sense of responsibility, assertiveness, and communication skills
