About the Role

As a Software Engineer at Forterro, you will design, develop, and optimise software solutions that support strategic goals. Main Responsibilities

  • Design and develop well-structured software solutions for desktop and mobile platforms, converting requirements into robust implementations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and UX designers to understand business needs and define technical specifications.
  • Write efficient, maintainable C# code, perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting across platforms.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications and system architecture.
  • Stay updated with latest technology trends and propose enhancements to the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in .NET MAUI Framework with C# for cross-platform iOS and Android app development
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and Design Patterns
  • Experience with RESTful API integration and platform-specific APIs for sensors and camera
  • Knowledge of .NET 8 and above, Git source control, and app store publishing requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities

Experience & Education

  • 5+ years of software development experience with 2+ years specifically in MAUI
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent related field
  • Proven track record delivering high-quality solutions in fast-paced environments

Desirable Skills

  • Web API development experience
  • WinForms design and implementation with C#
  • Application performance profiling and optimization
  • DevExpress components and Azure Pipeline/GitHub Actions familiarity

Work Arrangement

This role follows a hybrid working model. Employees are expected to work from the office during onboarding and follow the local hybrid policy thereafter.
