About the Role

As a Solution Delivery Engineer, you are the technical owner of how biometric solutions are deployed at customers. You design solutions, write migration code and tooling, validate implementations, and communicate technical decisions to stakeholders. This is a hands-on engineering role where you work across solution clusters, R&D, product, support, and pre-sales—serving as the primary technical contact for customers.

Key Responsibilities

Design end-to-end technical solutions for biometric deployments across governmental ID, criminal justice, border control, enterprise identity verification, and embedded biometrics
Write efficient code for data migrations, build custom tools, and debug complex integration problems with third-party systems
Conduct live data migrations, produce quality analyses, deduplication reports, and Factory Acceptance Tests
Deliver customer training and technical workshops, explaining biometric concepts and solution architectures to both technical and business audiences
Specialize in one solution cluster by month three, becoming the delivery-side technical reference and advisor for scoping, sizing, and deployment
Lead parallel technical implementations from conception to deployment and feed learnings into the product roadmap

What You Need on Day One

Engineering foundation: Programming in Java, C#, Python, Go or similar with recent hands-on work; working SQL; ability to analyze real datasets
Requirements analysis: Turn customer needs into scope, assumptions, and risks before design
Solution design: Design data models, use cases, and permissions end-to-end; document decisions for future reference
Stakeholder alignment: Keep teams aligned on scope changes and scope boundaries; communicate clearly with customers and colleagues
Business communication: Explain technical analyses, diagrams, and recommendations in English to non-technical audiences
University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related technical field (or business degree with substantial hands-on engineering experience)
Flexibility for short business trips to customers
