Introduction to the position
We’re looking for a strong backend Tech Lead to drive the development of our transactional and gamification platform, while mentoring a team of junior engineers and setting technical standards.
Your role
• Lead and mentor backend engineers, ensuring high-quality delivery and clean code practices.• Architect, build, and optimize scalable transactional systems and gamification engines (loyalty, rewards, challenges).• Ensure system reliability, security, and performance.• Define engineering best practices and make key technical decisions.• Support team members through code reviews, design sessions, and hands-on problem-solving.• Work closely with product and DevOps to ship production-ready features.
Your qualifications
Tech Stack• Node.js / Express• Prisma ORM• PostgreSQL• AWS (scalable, production-grade architecture)• Transactional flows & gamification systemsProfile• 5+ years in backend engineering, ideally with 2+ years in a technical leadership role.• Strong experience in transaction-heavy platforms and/or gamification systems at scale.• Solid understanding of API design, distributed systems, data modeling, and clean architecture.• Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
