Technical Operations Lead - BillingOps (Casablanca)

About the Role

Join Deliverect as Technical Operations Lead for our fast-growing Casablanca hub. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead a team of 5 in the BillingOps squad, driving AI-driven automation across our financial operations while bridging local operations with global Engineering, RevOps, and Finance teams.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead BillingOps Processes (~40%): Manage and develop global billing operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and scalability across growing transaction volumes while collaborating with Finance and RevOps on governance and reporting.
• Drive Technical Operations & AI Automation (~25%): Lead automation of billing workflows using internal AI tools, work hands-on with the AI squad to design and deploy agents, and ensure monitoring and reliability of automated processes.
• Cross-Functional Coordination (~25%): Interface with global RevOps, Finance, IT, and Engineering teams on operational topics, support organizational transitions, contribute to Deal Desk processes, and participate in Information Systems projects.
• Reporting & Operational Excellence (~10%): Set up and maintain operational KPIs for the BillingOps team, produce regular reporting for leadership, and identify inefficiencies to drive process improvements.

What You Bring

Required

• 7+ years of experience in operations, revenue operations, or technical operations in SaaS or tech-enabled companies
• Strong technical profile: comfortable with APIs, automation tools, AI agents, and ERP systems
• Proven experience architecting internal systems and coding
• Demonstrated team management experience with hands-on leadership style
• Strong operational rigor in billing flows, process design, and data reconciliation
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal); French is a plus
• Ability to operate autonomously in fast-moving, international environments
• Based in or willing to relocate to Casablanca, Morocco

Nice to Have

• Experience with billing operations in subscription or transactional SaaS models
• Familiarity with AI agent platforms or automation tooling (n8n, Zapier, LLM-based agents)
• Experience managing a local office or multi-function operations team
