Role Overview
We are seeking a Test Engineer to support the successful delivery of a Talend to TIBCO migration project. You will validate that all integrations are accurately migrated and operate in line with existing business processes, ensuring data integrity, functional accuracy, and readiness for release across sprint-based delivery waves.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases across integration jobs (batch, file-based, API)
- Validate migrated integrations against existing Talend behaviour and perform system and integration testing across environments
- Conduct data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and no duplication
- Support business validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Log, track, and retest defects, supporting triage and prioritisation
- Produce test summaries to support go/no-go decisions and validate deployments
- Maintain test documentation and evidence for audit purposes
Required Qualifications
- Experience in integration or ETL testing
- Strong data validation and reconciliation skills
- Understanding of APIs, batch processing, and file-based integrations
- Experience working in agile delivery environments
- Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
- Ability to collaborate across technical and business stakeholders
