About the Role
As Team Lead Quality Operations, you will oversee quality management activities throughout the samples and pre-production phases at LEONI, a global leader in automotive wiring systems and cable harnesses. You will ensure production area validation, equipment release, and control of non-conforming products while leading a team focused on continuous improvement.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage quality activities during samples and pre-production phases
- Validate and release production areas and equipment; approve new equipment installations
- Control and manage non-conforming products and implement corrective actions
- Lead and coach implementation of corrective and preventive actions for internal and external failures
- Develop and monitor Quality Improvement Plans to achieve targets
- Participate daily in Quality Meetings with production teams (Line QRQC)
- Authorize production stops and dispatch holds to mitigate risks of non-conforming processes or products
Required Qualifications
- Education: Engineer or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- Experience: 4 years in the automotive industry
- Languages: French and English (mandatory)
- Technical Skills: Lean Manufacturing, Hoshin Kanri, and Continuous Improvement Techniques
- Soft Skills: Communication, intercultural sensitivity, change management, target orientation, resilience, self-organization, conflict management, and teamwork
