Position Overview

CorpsAfrica seeks an experienced trainer/educator to lead the training program in Morocco. The Training Officer will manage four major trainings annually: Pre-Service Training, In-Service Training #1, In-Service Training #2, and Close of Service Conference. This role combines logistical coordination with facilitation of human-centered design (HCD) and asset-based community development (ABCD) training components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate HCD and ABCD training and other program components
  • Organize and manage all logistical aspects of training including venues, meals, transportation, materials, and equipment
  • Compile training budgets and maintain detailed expense records in collaboration with senior staff
  • Coordinate with CorpsAfrica/Maroc and Headquarters staff, alumni, trainers, presenters, and the Chief Training Officer
  • Identify and support homestay families and work with communities on Human Centered Design practical sessions
  • Communicate with NGOs, government officials, academia, business leaders, and development partners to support volunteer training

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise facilitating hands-on, participatory learning experiences for youth
  • Knowledge of HCD and ABCD methodologies
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, punctual, and results-focused
  • Strong initiative, adaptability, integrity, and sound judgment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups
  • Passion for youth leadership and community-led development
  • Fluent in Arabic and English; French and Tamazight fluency preferred
  • Proficient with Google Workspace Tools and standard computer applications
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to work flexible hours
