About the Role
Clinvet Morocco is seeking a dedicated Veterinarian or Animal Biologist to join our Animal Care team. This position offers hands-on experience in a thriving Study Management and Support department, ideal for professionals seeking career advancement in research.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, execution, and reporting of GCP, GLP, and non-standard studies in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Serve as Study Investigator for assigned non-standard studies and prepare study protocols and ethics applications
- Monitor and promote animal health, welfare, and disease prevention practices
- Conduct animal observations, examinations, and sample collection activities
- Manage quarantine, isolation, and biosecurity procedures to maintain compliant facilities
- Perform animal handling, care, therapy, and environmental enrichment activities
- Administer veterinary products and treatments according to study requirements and ensure regulatory compliance
Work Environment
This role requires working in a laboratory/research environment with strict biosafety controls. You will interact with and handle animals, and be available for work during normal hours as well as after-hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as scheduled. The position requires the ability to work an eight-hour shift on your feet in constant motion.
Minimum Requirements
- Licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, OR
- Degree in Natural or Biological Science with two (2) years' research experience, OR
- Diploma in Veterinary Technology or closely related field with five (5) years' research experience, OR
- 0-3 years of relevant experience

- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Office 365 applications
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent time-management, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and learn new software systems
