Introduction to the position


As a Glovo Brands Ads Associate, you will be an integral part of the Glovo Brands Ads team, which is a cross-functional division focused on providing a range of advertising products to help brands increase awareness, consideration, conversion, and loyalty. Your main objectives will be: 1) Delivering ad campaigns that effectively boost sales for our partner brands by leveraging the constantly growing Glovo user base. 2) Driving incremental profit for Glovo through the development and sale of our advertising products.In order to achieve these goals, you will need to be highly hands-on, data-driven, possess excellent presentation skills, have a deep understanding of advertising products, coordinate effectively across departments, and manage external/internal stakeholders. Your role


- Drive sales of Glovo advertising products to FMCG partner Brands and prospects- Build and nurture relationships with strategic advertisers- Recommend advertising products based on data and FMCG Brands' needs and objectives- Ensure flawless execution of partner Brands' ad campaigns, coordinating with cross-functional teams- Monitor and analyze performance of ad campaigns, assessing impact on partner Brands and Glovo's overall performance- Track partner Brands' progress, meet targets, and identify new opportunities- Achieve yearly objectives set with partner Brands (JBP)- Create success stories and share best practices

You will support Glovo's African markets not only in the day-to-day activities most closely related to the business (such as negotiating contracts and providing all-round advice on corporate and commercial matters) but also through regulatory complexities, ensuring compliance and enabling innovation.

THE JOURNEY

Be part of a team where you will:

Regularly report to Glovo's General Counsel on all legal matters of the Africa region

Commercial: Elaborate, review and analyze all types of commercial agreements for the Africa region. Handle contractual and commercial implications (including, privacy, compliance, labor, licenses and others) when dealing with all the players involved in the business. Manage business operations and align the guidelines for all the countries where Glovo operates in Africa

Compliance: Strive the implementation of the policies, procedures and internal controls. Contribute to compliance reporting as per regulatory and laws requirements in all Glovo's entities. Identify, mitigate, assess criminal risks and monitor Crime Prevention Models in company groups in the region.

Labor: Provide legal operational and strategic support to the African teams (Ops and HR teams, mainly) and also including general advice on specific projects. Participate in the strategic elaboration of litigations and proceedings.

Corporate: Participate in due diligence, evaluate risks, elaborate corporate documentation, implementation of corporate governance policies and support special projects as M&As. Collaborate reporting corporate information of all entities of Glovo in the markets you are supervising.

Privacy: Promote legal awareness throughout the local businesses and report reliable data. Actively participate in privacy projects to implement best practices in all Glovo's subsidiaries.

Regulatory, antitrust and consumer law: Provide legal advice and ensure compliance with the regulations applicable to Glovo' s business.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

At least 10 years' experience in the legal department of a company and/or reputed law firm/big4 with proven experience;

Must have solid experience working in Africa for a preferably international business

Law Degree;

Excellent English language skills (must have);

What You Will Do

Elaborate, review, and analyze all types of commercial agreements
