As a Senior Backend Developer with T‑shaped skills, you will be responsible for a specific domain within Yakeey’s platform—either marketplace, credit or valuation—while ensuring that your work aligns with our overall architecture and collaborates effectively with other domain teams. You will demonstrate deep expertise in backend engineering (Java/Spring Boot, micro‑services, API design) and a broad understanding of adjacent areas (front‑end, data, DevOps, AI) to make informed design decisions that fit our one‑stop‑shop vision. Your role

- Develop and maintain micro‑services in your assigned domain using Java/Spring Boot, following domain‑driven design and our established architectural standards.- Design and expose APIs that integrate your domain’s services with other platform components, enabling seamless interoperability while adhering to our Model Context Protocol (MCP) where applicable.- Ensure alignment with the global architecture by basing design and implementation decisions on established patterns, guidelines and cross‑team agreements.- Collaborate with adjacent teams (front‑end, data, DevOps, AI) to understand dependencies and ensure that solutions in your domain integrate smoothly with their components.- Apply your T‑shaped skills to understand how front‑end requirements, data flows and deployment considerations affect your domain, even as you focus deeply on backend development.- Participate in architectural discussions to share insights from your domain and learn from other teams, contributing to a cohesive platform strategy.- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, security and observability within your domain; participate in code reviews and continuous delivery.- Mentor junior developers within your domain and encourage knowledge sharing across teams.

Your qualifications

- Curiosity for next‑generation AI technologies – Demonstrated interest in or experience with intelligent agents, large language models (LLMs), Model Context Protocol (MCP) and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) architectures. Introduction to the position

As a Technical Lead, you will guide a team of approximately four developers to deliver high‑quality features aligned with Yakeey’s product roadmap and architectural guidelines. Working closely with product managers and architects, you will translate requirements into technical tasks, oversee implementation, and ensure that solutions adhere to our micro‑services architecture, coding standards and best practices. Your role

- Lead and coordinate a development team of ~4 engineers in delivering product features on time and to specification.- Translate product requirements and architectural designs into actionable tasks, ensuring clarity and feasibility for your team.- Architect and review solutions within your scope, ensuring alignment with our overall platform architecture and design principles.- Participate in hands‑on development, contributing to codebase quality and demonstrating best practices in Java/Spring Boot and related technologies.- Mentor and support team members, providing guidance on technical challenges, code quality, testing and professional growth.- Collaborate with product managers, architects and cross‑functional teams to refine requirements, anticipate dependencies and plan releases.- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance development processes, CI/CD pipelines, testing and documentation.- Monitor progress and address obstacles, ensuring your team remains focused, productive and aligned with project goals.

Your qualifications

As a Data Engineer focused on platform stability and analytics, your mission will be to maintain and enhance a reliable, high‑performance data stack that empowers product and operations teams with actionable insights. You will leverage AWS technologies (Postgres RDS, Redshift, S3), build and manage ELT pipelines with Airbyte, model data with dbt and orchestrate workflows with Prefect. Your work will ensure that key performance indicators and data products are accurate, timely and tailored to support decision‑making, improve processes and inform the development of our one‑stop‑shop services.

Your role

- Maintain and optimize our data platform (RDS, Redshift, S3), ensuring high availability, performance and cost efficiency to support analytics and operations.- Develop and manage ELT pipelines with Airbyte to ingest data from diverse sources and keep the data warehouse and data lake up to date.- Model and transform data using dbt to deliver clean, well‑structured datasets and meaningful KPIs for product and operations teams.- Orchestrate data workflows with Prefect, automating tasks such as data ingestion, transformation and quality checks.- Collaborate with product, operations and analytics teams to understand data needs, define metrics and build data products that support decision‑making.- Implement and enforce data governance practices, including monitoring, testing and documentation, to ensure data accuracy and trustworthiness.- Proactively monitor pipeline performance and resolve issues, continuously improving reliability and scalability.- Stay current with emerging tools and best practices in data engineering to enhance the stack and support advanced use cases like MCP‑based agents and RAG architectures.
