About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Big Data Engineer or similar data engineering role
- Proficiency in Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Apache Kafka
- Strong coding skills in Java, Scala, or Python
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data storage solutions (HDFS, S3, BigQuery)
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and algorithms
- Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
