Role Overview
The Business Specialist at HCL is responsible for data analysis, business analysis, and Agile methodology execution within the organization. This role involves analyzing data, identifying business needs, and executing projects using Agile methodologies to drive strategic initiatives forward.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct data analysis to gather insights and make data-driven recommendations for business improvement
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
- Utilize Agile methodology to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver results within designated timelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and communicate project progress effectively
- Support implementation of business strategies by providing analytical support and contributing to decision-making processes
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements through data analysis and business acumen
Required Skills
- Proficient in data analysis techniques, tools, and methodologies to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets
- Strong business analysis skills to understand and document business requirements with clarity and precision
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodology, including Scrum or Kanban, to drive project execution and delivery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders and team members
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address business challenges with innovative solutions
Preferred Qualifications
Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification is preferred but not mandatory.
