The Role

As a Data Engineering Intern on BCG's X Delivery team, you will work closely with consulting teams on diverse advanced topics. You will leverage data engineering techniques to deliver value to BCG's Consulting, BCG X case teams, Product teams, and Practice Areas. You will collaborate to gather requirements, design, develop, and support industrialized solutions serving client needs, providing technical support through deep understanding of relevant tools and processes.

Technical Skills Required

Core Technologies:

  • Python, PySpark, SQL
  • Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Neo4j, Redis)
  • Spark or distributed big data systems (Hadoop, Pig, Hive)
  • Data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster)
