Introduction to the Position

Artefact is looking for Senior Data Scientists to drive ambitious projects in the transformation of clients through data.

Your Role

In addition to the core Data Science and ML Engineering Team, you will work with different stakeholders to qualify the feasibility of use cases, translating business challenges into technical formulations. You will define business and statistical hypotheses, build solutions, and develop production-ready implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Qualify the feasibility of use cases, translating business challenges into technical formulations
  • Define business and statistical hypotheses, build solutions followed by testing and validation
  • Propose adequate AI or machine learning options to address business needs and act as an expert on algorithm selection
  • Develop data visualisation features to generate insights and support data storytelling
  • Design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot data models integrated into solutions
  • Assess data quality, clean and aggregate when necessary, and compare algorithms based on statistical hypotheses
  • Develop and train models following MLOps principles when moving models to production
  • Iterate with the business in an agile way to develop, adapt and refine solutions for maximum business impact

You will be part of the Data Science team working on client transformation projects.

Your Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 2 years of prior Data Science experience
  • Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, Advanced Statistics, Data Science or a related discipline
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of data science algorithms and at least one proven experience in developing Statistical and ML algorithms
  • Proficient in Python (preferred) and/or R
  • Fluent in English

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous experience in Consulting, Marketing Data Science, Marketing analytics or e-commerce
  • Customer-centric mindset
  • Preference in Causal Inference topics, Time Series, Advanced Statistics
  • Cloud technologies (GCP, Azure, AWS) especially Google Cloud Platform
