Role Overview
As a Strategic Studies and Innovation Manager in Transmission Infrastructure, you will lead technological analysis, architecture design, and innovation programs for next-generation network solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technological and strategic watch on transmission networks (WDM, satellite, terrestrial/submarine systems, optical fibers) and emerging domains like AI and IP/Optical convergence
- Identify disruptive trends and assess their business and operational relevance; conduct opportunity, feasibility, and techno-economic studies
- Define, model, and compare target transmission network architectures and evolution pathways; develop engineering references and best practices
- Design and lead innovation programs; manage projects from design to deployment with clear objectives, deadlines, and resource oversight
- Communicate innovation strategy through internal conferences, white papers, trade shows, and training sessions to strengthen innovation culture
- Collaborate with marketing, technical, commercial, and operational teams; provide regular performance reports to management and stakeholders
Required Skills
- Deep expertise in network architectures, particularly transmission infrastructure (WDM, terrestrial/submarine systems, IP/Optical convergence, fibers)
- Proven ability to conduct strategic and techno-economic studies with strong analytical and synthesis capabilities
- Leadership experience managing complex projects with demonstrated influence and communication skills
- Innovative mindset with technological curiosity and ability to drive organizational change
