Vos missions

  • You have 10+ years senior finance experience managing multiple legal entities internationally
  • You have hands-on trade finance experience and understand government contracting finance

About the Role

Lead finance operations for Harmattan AI's Middle East and Africa region, based in Morocco. You will start as the sole finance owner and progressively build a team of country finance correspondents as the regional footprint expands. Partner with commercial teams on government contracts and industrial investment project financing.

Finance & Accounting

  • Own financial management of regional entities: accounting, controlling, and monthly and annual closings aligned with Group calendar
  • Manage vendor invoicing, payroll entries and payments within Group controls
  • Coordinate local tax compliance, statutory requirements and audits with regional advisors
  • Support intercompany framework including invoicing, management fees and transfer pricing documentation

Trade Finance & Banking

  • Manage local banking relationships and cash positions in coordination with Group Treasury
  • Structure and manage letters of credit, guarantees and trade finance instruments for government contracts
  • Design financing solutions for specific projects and countries with banking partners
  • Establish banking and finance infrastructure for new regional entities

Business Partnering & Growth

  • Serve as finance business partner to sales, business development and marketing teams
  • Build and maintain long-term business plans supporting industrial investment projects
  • Support financial ramp-up of industrial projects in project mode with operational teams

Key Requirements

  • Approximately 10 years of senior finance experience with ownership of multiple legal entities in international groups
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business; Master's degree or local accounting qualification preferred
  • Strong accounting, controlling and corporate finance foundations including month-end closings and external firm coordination
  • Hands-on trade finance experience: letters of credit, bank guarantees and financing structuring
  • Deep knowledge of Moroccan banking and administrative environment with MEA market exposure
  • Finance partnership experience with commercial teams; government or institutional client experience is a plus
  • Autonomy, rigor and pragmatism working independently from headquarters
  • Fluency in French and English required; Arabic is a plus
