About the Role
Help train and evaluate AI agents working inside a real CAD environment on complex engineering tasks that would typically require 10–15 hours of expert work. You will design part geometry, build reference solutions, and assess the agent's performance. You'll collaborate with CFD engineers who simulate the geometry you create.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and model part geometry in professional CAD software
- Build reference solutions for AI agent training and evaluation
- Evaluate and judge AI agent attempts on engineering tasks
- Prepare geometry for simulation analysis (ANSYS or similar tools)
- Collaborate with CFD engineers on simulation workflows
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on professional CAD modelling experience (CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo, or similar)
- Active professional CAD licence (required)
- Experience preparing geometry for simulation (ANSYS or similar) is a strong advantage
- Proficiency with Python and GitHub
- English language proficiency at B2 level or above
Project Details
Time Commitment: Approximately 10–20 hours per week during active project phases. This is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload.
Compensation: Up to $9 per hour equivalent, based on your level and pace of contribution. Compensation varies across projects depending on scope, complexity, and expertise required.
Why This Opportunity
- Work fully remote on your own schedule with just a laptop and stable internet
