About the Role
Help train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulation tasks. You will take CAD geometry, set up and run simulations, build verified reference solutions, and write Python checks for the agent's results.
Main Responsibilities
- Set up and execute CFD simulations using industry-standard tools
- Build and verify reference solutions for fluid dynamics problems
- Develop Python scripts to validate AI agent outputs
- Perform mesh-independence studies and validation against benchmarks
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or related field (energy, oil & gas); PhD preferred
- Several years of hands-on CFD experience with OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX, or STAR-CCM+, including meshing
- Strong verification and validation practices with mesh-independence studies
- Proficiency in Python and GitHub
- English at B2 level or above
- Nice to have: aerospace, automotive, offshore, or turbomachinery background; multiphase or particle-laden flow experience
Project Details
Estimated workload: 10–20 hours per week during active phases (not guaranteed). Work fully remote on your own schedule with just a laptop and stable internet connection.
Compensation
Up to $9 per hour equivalent, depending on level and pace of contribution. Eligible for performance-based bonus programs rewarding high-quality work and consistent delivery.
