Valeo seeks a Maintenance Technician for its automotive manufacturing facility in Tangier. This permanent, full-time position involves preventive and corrective maintenance on diverse equipment including electrotechnical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, as well as programmable logic controllers and robots. Vos missions

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on factory equipment including electrotechnical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machinery breakdowns, analyze failure causes, and implement necessary modifications
  • Participate in 5S programs, QRQC initiatives, and maintain intervention tracking logs for traceability
  • Contribute to improvement workshops and commissioning of new equipment resources
  • Lead improvement projects and provide training on assembly, disassembly, and adjustment procedures (Level 3)

Preventive Maintenance

  • Level 1: Perform simple preventive maintenance operations according to standard operating procedures and schedules.
  • Level 2: Prepare and perform preventive maintenance on all equipment (electrotechnical, automated, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, etc.). Work on programmable logic controllers, robots, and manipulators.
  • Level 3: Study, prepare, and perform preventive maintenance on all factory equipment, including programmable logic controllers, robots, and manipulators.

Corrective Maintenance

  • Level 1: Intervene on machinery to resolve simple breakdowns under supervision. Analyze failure causes and propose improvements.
  • Level 2: Resolve breakdowns autonomously. Analyze and implement modifications across all technical domains to improve reliability, capacity, and maintainability.
  • Level 3: Propose and implement actions to improve reliability, capacity, and maintainability using new technologies.

Other Activities

  • Level 1: Participate in the maintenance workshop's 5S program and QRQC initiatives. Update intervention tracking logs for traceability.
  • Level 2: Participate in daily and monthly meetings and improvement workshops. Contribute to specifications during receipt and commissioning of new resources.
  • Level 3: Lead improvement projects, consult with subcontractors, draft procedures, and provide training.
