TE Connectivity is seeking a Mold Designer Technician to design, develop, and continuously improve injection molds for its connectivity products. The role covers projects from concept through manufacturing, validation, and production release, working closely with product engineering, mold manufacturing, assembly, and molding teams. Candidates need a technician-level diploma in a mechanical or tooling-related field and 1 to 2 years of injection mold design or tooling experience. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Vos missions

  • Conduct DFM (Design for Manufacturing) reviews and optimize mold designs for manufacturability, maintenance, cycle time, and cost.
  • Support Moldflow analysis and interpret simulation results, evaluating filling, cooling, shrinkage, weld lines, and part quality risks.
  • Develop 3D and 2D injection mold designs in Creo CAD, including detailed assembly and manufacturing drawings.
  • Design mold components such as cavities, cores, slides, lifters, cooling circuits, ejection systems, and hot runner systems.
  • Apply GD&T principles and TE mold standards to all designs and support mold concept selection and feasibility studies.

Profil recherché

  • You have hands-on experience in injection mold design or tooling engineering
  • You have experience with Creo CAD and Moldflow simulation analysis
  • You understand DFM, GD&T, and how shrinkage, weld lines, and cooling affect part quality
  • You hold a technician-level diploma (Bac+2/Bac+3) in mechanical engineering or a related field
