About the role

You will create FE meshes used in FE analysis to simulate components and complete systems in seat development. You will ensure mesh quality and on-time delivery, and work as an important member of the global Lear FEA team in an international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Independently mesh automotive seating parts, including plastic, foam and structural components, using HYPERMESH
  • Take an active part in deciding the meshing strategy (e.g., shell or solid meshing)
  • Manage incoming CAD data and ensure its completeness
  • Communicate directly with the CAD department and FEA engineers
  • Perform geometry clean-up and apply FE meshes to geometrical parts
  • Take full responsibility for compliance with quality standards and meshing specifications
  • Cooperate at an international level within the global FEA group
  • Deliver on time for our customers

Requirements

  • Baccalauréat + 2 (technique)
  • Technical qualification such as design draftsman or technical worker
  • Good spatial sense and a distinct technical understanding
  • First experience with CAE tools or other 3D computer programs
  • Ability to work with concentration at a computer workstation
  • Willingness to learn and develop further
  • Motivated, flexible, team-oriented work style
  • Knowledge of the MS Office package
  • Good English knowledge is welcome, but not mandatory
