About the Role
As a Mobile Core Network Engineer, you will design and implement innovative core network solutions that enhance telecommunications infrastructure, driving seamless connectivity and advanced network reliability.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and develop technical solutions for client projects, including High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD)
- Define implementation roadmaps for 4G and 5G core network solutions aligned with client requirements
- Deploy mobile core network solutions in lab, pre-production, and production environments with horizontal and vertical integration
- Define test scenarios, execute tests, and analyze traces in end-to-end (E2E) environments for 5G, VoLTE, and IoT applications
- Provide ongoing support for deployed solutions in production environments
- Work within Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI-CD) environments
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of mobile network protocols, architectures, and interworking capabilities
- Mastery of LTE/5G architectures and 3GPP standards for mobile core networks
- Practical experience with core network elements: AMF/MME, SMF/SPGW-C, UPF/SPGW-U
- Proven deployment experience in operational mobile core network environments
- Proficiency with CI-CD tools (GitLab) and testing automation
- Experience with containerized deployments in Telco cloud environments (Redhat OpenShift)
- Knowledge of IPv4/IPv6 architectures, IP routing, QoS, MPLS, and VPN technologies
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate client needs into technical requirements
Education & Experience
Graduate degree in Software Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5-8 years of proven experience in telecommunications focused on mobile core networks.
