About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and quality-focused QA Engineer to ensure software products meet functional, technical, and quality standards throughout the development lifecycle. You will have strong testing and problem-solving skills, with experience identifying defects, improving testing processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-quality software.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test strategies for software applications across web, mobile, desktop, and API platforms.
  • Analyze requirements and technical specifications to define comprehensive testing scenarios and create detailed test plans, cases, and scripts.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, API, usability, and exploratory testing; identify, reproduce, and document software defects with detailed information.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks; perform API, database, cross-browser, and cross-platform testing as required.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to investigate and resolve quality issues; support release testing and production verification.
  • Monitor test results, identify quality risks, and identify opportunities to improve QA processes, automation coverage, and testing efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Software Testing Expertise: Strong understanding of QA principles, manual and automated testing methodologies, and ability to create and execute comprehensive test cases.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with test automation frameworks, API testing tools (Postman), SQL and database testing, and CI/CD concepts.
  • Tools Proficiency: Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Azure DevOps.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience as a QA Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with manual software testing and experience developing or maintaining automated tests (preferred).
  • Experience testing web, mobile, desktop, API, or other software applications; functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and databases; understanding of CI/CD concepts and software release processes.
