About the Role
Salesforce is seeking a Salesforce Core Technical Architect to join the Professional Services team. This role centers on being a "Core Platform" subject matter expert, leading the design and implementation of enterprise-grade Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and platform solutions. Deep Salesforce Core expertise is essential, with a strong background across the broader Salesforce ecosystem (Experience Cloud, Integration, and AI/Agentforce) to drive cross-cloud success.
The Technical Architect is responsible for architecting scalable solutions across enterprise landscapes, ensuring the platform is secure, performant, and ready for enterprise AI usage. You will work closely with Project Managers and other Technical Architects to ensure on-time, fully functioning implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary authority for the Salesforce Core platform to support project delivery and Agentforce/AI integration
- Drive creation of application and technical design documents (Blueprints/FSD) leveraging Salesforce best practices
- Design and guide customer enterprise architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Platform with focus on data model, security, and governance
- Provide guidance on integration development, Enterprise Architecture standards, and lead code reviews for Apex, LWC, and Flows
- Facilitate and influence Executive Customer stakeholders while aligning technology strategy to business value and ROI
- Troubleshoot key implementation issues and drive successful resolution through proactive risk management
Required Qualifications
- Direct experience designing and configuring Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud for enterprise use cases
- Deep knowledge of data modeling, sharing/security architecture, governor limits, and multi-org strategy
- Ability to clearly document solutions including data flows, system diagrams, and technical artifacts
- Strong requirement translation skills to map business processes into Salesforce product suite
- Knowledge of API patterns (REST/SOAP/Bulk/Platform Events) and experience integrating Salesforce with business systems
- Technical leadership capability to lead inter-team meetings and conduct solutions testing
- Willingness to travel to client sites for discovery and presentations (approximately 25%)
- Engineering Degree or equivalent relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years direct experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and Lightning Platform
- Familiarity with Agentforce and platform-native automation/AI tooling
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills for tactical and executive audiences
- 8+ years in solution/technical architecture or consulting with focus on enterprise application design
- Familiarity with adjacent clouds (Experience Cloud, MuleSoft, Data Cloud) and functional domains
- Application/System Architect certifications; 6+ Core certifications plus Agentforce Specialist and Data 360 certification
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment with adaptability and resourcefulness
