Senior Back-End Developer

Y STRATEGIE is hiring a Senior Back-End Developer in Casablanca, Morocco. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Responsibilities

  • 3-5 years of experience working professionally as a Back-End Developer
  • Develop and maintain web applications using Vue.js, including Vue 2 and Vue 3
  • Work with a team of developers to design and implement new features using Laravel 12, Blade templating and Tailwind CSS
  • Work with a team of developers to design and implement template and site changes in WordPress, Bootstrap and jQuery
  • Knowledge of Git and GitHub
  • Ability to work independently, collaborating directly with non-technical colleagues
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical issues with non-technical people
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Collaborate with designers and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards
  • Continuously improve the performance and scalability of web applications
  • Work with REST APIs to connect web applications to back-end services

Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Vue.js, including Vue 2 and Vue 3
  • Experience with Tailwind, Laravel and Bootstrap
  • Experience with jQuery would be beneficial
  • Proficient in working with REST APIs
  • Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Experience with Nuxt.js framework and WordPress is a nice to have
  • Experience creating and working on applications that consume external APIs
  • Good understanding of UX best practices and accessibility guidelines
