About the Role

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will work within the Mechanical Department, leading design initiatives for plastic automotive components. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions that meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead component and system design projects for automotive plastic parts
  • Develop CAD models using CATIA V5/V6, including 3D modeling, 2D drafting, and Generative Shape Design
  • Conduct design studies to identify optimal solutions aligned with technical specifications and client expectations
  • Participate in feasibility studies and ensure geometrical conformity of designs
  • Coordinate CAD design teams and provide technical leadership
  • Deliver comprehensive technical reports documenting design progress and solutions

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in CAD design development for automotive components (interior/exterior trims or lighting)
  • Expert proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 with strong knowledge of Generative Shape Design
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate CAD design teams
