Vos missions

Role Overview

The Facility Manager will oversee end-to-end management of facility operations, infrastructure projects, technical services, workplace safety, and budget administration. This role requires strong leadership to ensure efficient facility management, operational continuity, regulatory compliance, and delivery of infrastructure initiatives aligned with organizational objectives. You will ensure ISO audit readiness, manage EHS compliance, and support operational efficiency in a high-performance BPO workplace environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Technical Operations: Manage day-to-day operations of building MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, UPS, BMS, FAS), plan preventive and predictive maintenance schedules, conduct root cause analysis, supervise maintenance vendors for SLA compliance, and monitor energy consumption.
  • Infrastructure Project Management: Lead infrastructure expansion, refurbishment, fit-out, and renovation projects from planning to execution. Coordinate with stakeholders, architects, designers, and contractors. Conduct site inspections, manage equipment commissioning, and ensure projects are delivered within timelines and budgets.
  • Compliance & ISO Audit Management: Ensure compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001). Maintain audit documentation, logs, permits, and calibration records. Support internal and external audits and drive continuous improvement through corrective and preventive actions.
  • Facilities Budget Management: Prepare and manage annual operating budgets and capital expenditure plans. Track expenses, identify cost optimization opportunities, review vendor quotations, and prepare management reports on cost analysis and savings initiatives.
  • Health & Safety Management: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Implement workplace safety standards, conduct safety audits and risk assessments, ensure contractor compliance, and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Soft Services & Stakeholder Communication: Oversee outsourced vendors for housekeeping, security, and pantry operations. Act as single point of contact for client escalations and provide timely reporting on facility operations and asset performance.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical expertise in MEP and building automation systems
  • Proven experience managing integrated facility management in BPO environments
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and audit practices (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)
  • Familiarity with CMMS/BMS/CAFM tools
  • Strong vendor management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with focus on quality and timelines
  • Fluency in Arabic, French, and English (must-have)

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in facilities operations, preferably in BPO or data centre environments
  • Professional certifications in Facilities Management, Project Management, or Health & Safety (advantageous)
