About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Tolerance Management Engineer to join our engineering organization. You will contribute directly to the dimensional quality of complex mechanical assemblies by performing both 3D and 1D tolerance analyses, working with cross-functional teams, and supporting product validation throughout the development cycle. This position is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with strong communication and problem-solving skills in a collaborative environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • 3D Tolerance Analysis & Simulation: Run 3D tolerance simulations using OEM-approved digital tools, prepare CAD models, build product assemblies, apply GD&T standards, create measurement outputs, analyze results, and prepare professional presentations for stakeholders.
  • Tolerance Documentation: Create Excel-based tolerance overviews using OEM internal applications, add images and measurement points, coordinate with team leaders and quality planners for validation and approval.
  • 1D Tolerance Chain Calculations: Define gap, offset, parallelism, and uniformity measurements, build assembly tolerance chains, integrate process tolerances, and present findings to support cross-functional decision-making.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Support technical discussions, participate in meetings, and provide clear status updates for project reviews throughout the development cycle.

What You Bring

  • Experience with 3D tolerance analysis tools (such as 3DCS or similar OEM software)
  • Solid understanding of GD&T standards and mechanical drawings
