Role Overview

We are seeking a Transport Coordinator to manage import and export logistics operations, ensuring seamless coordination between internal departments, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and customers. You will oversee shipment organization, documentation, customs clearance, and transport performance optimization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor import/export transport activities and shipments according to customer and company requirements
  • Prepare, verify, and maintain transport and shipping documentation; follow up on customs clearance
  • Monitor shipment status, delivery schedules, transport costs, and performance indicators
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, transport providers, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal departments (Logistics, Purchasing, Production, Finance, Customer Management)
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and internal procedures; maintain accurate ERP records
  • Identify transport risks, resolve documentation issues, and communicate proactively with stakeholders on delays and urgent shipments

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport, International Trade, or related field
  • Previous experience in transport coordination, import/export, or international logistics
  • Strong knowledge of international transport and import/export documentation
  • Knowledge of Moroccan customs procedures and regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Fluent in French and English

Advantageous Experience

  • Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems
