UML Business Modeler - Insurance

Position Overview

Reporting to an assigned Project Manager or Team Leader, you will create and maintain the RADIENCE business model. This role requires extensive knowledge of insurance and wealth accumulation industry products and practices. You will be responsible for identifying, recommending, and implementing solutions designed to meet customer needs and expectations.

Main Responsibilities

• Consult with customers to define needs and problem areas, determining the scope of investigation required to recommend solutions
• Gather and analyze data to determine system processing solutions according to customer business requirements
• Develop and maintain business requirements using Use cases, storyboards, and Word documents
• Create and maintain the RADIENCE business model with attention to quality and standards
• Write, execute, and qualify test conditions for complex modeling changes with widespread effects
• Work within RADIENCE implementation methodology and follow applicable standards
• Stay informed of new developments in insurance and wealth management fields

Technical Skills Required

• Minimum 3 years of experience with business data modeling and process modeling using UML or XDE
• Minimum 3 years of experience with HTML and GUI design
• Minimum 3 years experience writing and executing test plans
• Minimum 1 year experience with XML
• Strong technical background with ability to debug and resolve application problems
• Familiarity with Object Oriented concepts
• Working experience with relational database access (SQL) preferred

Business Skills

• Experience in insurance and/or wealth management applications preferred
• Strong attention to detail
