Vos missions

About the Role

The Mobile Core Network Engineer ensures the design and implementation of innovative core network solutions that enhance telecommunications infrastructure, driving the organization towards seamless connectivity and advanced network reliability.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and develop technical solutions for client projects, including High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD)
  • Define implementation roadmaps for 4G and 5G core network solutions aligned with client requirements
  • Deploy mobile core network solutions in lab, pre-production, and production environments with horizontal and vertical integration
  • Define test scenarios, execute tests, and analyze traces in end-to-end environments including 5G, VoLTE, and IoT applications
  • Provide ongoing support for deployed solutions in production environments
  • Work within Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI-CD) environments

Required Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of mobile networks, protocols, architectures, and interworking capabilities
  • Mastery of LTE/5G architectures and 3GPP standards for mobile core networks
  • Practical experience with mobile core network elements (AMF/MME, SMF/SPGW-C, UPF/SPGW-U)
  • Proven experience deploying mobile core network solutions in operational environments
  • Proficiency with CI-CD tools such as GitLab and testing automation
  • Experience with containerized deployments in Telco cloud environments like Redhat OpenShift
  • Knowledge of IPv4/IPv6 architectures, IP routing, QoS, MPLS, and VPN technologies
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate client needs into technical requirements

Education and Experience

Graduate degree in Software Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 to 8 years of proven experience in telecommunications focused on mobile core networks.

Work Environment
