About the Role
As a Vehicle Functional Manager at ALTEN Morocco, you will lead vehicle functional convergence by consolidating inputs from multiple System Teams and ensuring alignment between functional validation plans and project objectives. This is a strategic position requiring strong cross-functional coordination and technical expertise in automotive vehicle functions.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure vehicle functional convergence by consolidating inputs from multiple System Teams and managing alignment with project objectives
- Build, maintain and communicate project functional maturity scorecards, KPIs, and track execution status with proactive deviation reporting
- Identify functional risks, propose convergence or recovery action plans, and negotiate timing adjustments to ensure project convergence
- Participate in project governance meetings, PI planning sessions, and support prioritization of activities according to project constraints
- Monitor software maturity, validate alignment between software deliveries and validation activities, and coordinate with technical experts for issue resolution
- Work closely with Product Safety Managers to ensure robustness of safety deliverables and support safety assessments
Required Qualifications
Hard Skills
- Master's degree (Bac +5) in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in automotive or related engineering
- Excellent knowledge of vehicle functions and mastery of functional requirements
- Knowledge of safety procedures and vehicle function standards
- Proficiency in tools: Word, Excel, PLM, Sirius
Soft Skills
- Fluent in French and English
- Strong transversal management and leadership capabilities
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle stress and work effectively in team environments
- Strong negotiation and coordination skills
