About the Role
IKEA Maroc is seeking a Visual Merchandising Intern to support the design and implementation of showroom and sales floor layouts. This internship offers hands-on experience in creating functional, aesthetic, and accessible merchandising solutions that enhance the IKEA range and customer experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and implementation of showroom and sales floor layouts
- Support the enhancement of the IKEA range through functional, aesthetic, and accessible merchandising solutions
- Assist in preparing layout plans using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or equivalent tools
- Participate in visual refresh projects, seasonal setups, and changes in in-store scenography
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Student in Interior Architecture, Spatial Design, Decoration, or a related field
- Creative, curious, and passionate about interior layout and home decoration
- Good knowledge of design tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to visualize spaces in 3D and turn ideas into reality
- Team player, flexible, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment
- Previous experience in layout, merchandising, or decoration is an advantage
