Vos missions

  • You have at least 4 years of hands-on data science experience and a relevant Master's degree

Introduction

Artefact is looking for Senior Data Scientists to drive ambitious projects in the transformation of clients through data.

Responsibilities

In addition to the core Data Science and ML Engineering Team, you will work with different stakeholders to:

  • Qualify the feasibility of use cases, translating business challenges into technical formulations
  • Define the business and statistical hypotheses, and build the solution followed by testing and validation
  • For validated use cases, help develop a production-ready solution
  • When consulted on a business challenge, propose adequate AI or machine learning options
  • Act as an expert on choosing the best algorithm given the specific context and constraints
  • Contribute as a key contributor to the design of the solution
  • Develop data visualisation features to generate insights and support data storytelling
  • Iterate with the business in an agile way to develop, adapt and refine the solution
  • Design, build, maintain and troubleshoot the data models integrated into delivered solutions
  • Assess data quality, clean and aggregate when necessary, compare and choose algorithms, develop and train models, follow MLOps principles and troubleshoot models in production

Minimum requirements

  • At least 4 years of prior Data Science experience
  • Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, Advanced Statistics, Data Science or a related discipline
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of data science algorithms and at least one proven experience developing statistical and ML algorithms
  • Proficient in Python (preferred) and/or R; fluent in English

Preferred requirements

  • Previous experience in consulting, marketing data science, marketing analytics or e-commerce
  • Customer-centric mindset
  • Preference for causal inference, time series and advanced statistics
  • Cloud technologies (GCP, Azure, AWS), especially Google Cloud Platform
