About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and quality-focused Application Tester to evaluate software applications and ensure they function correctly, meet business requirements, and provide a reliable user experience. You will identify defects, validate application functionality, and collaborate with development and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities

  • Execute manual and automated tests to validate application functionality and quality
  • Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, test scripts, and testing documentation
  • Identify, reproduce, document, and track application defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing across web, mobile, and desktop applications
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues
  • Support release testing, deployment validation, and production verification activities

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of software testing and quality assurance principles
  • Experience creating and executing manual test cases and test scenarios
  • Ability to identify, reproduce, and clearly document application defects
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps)
  • Knowledge of web and mobile application testing
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Application Tester, QA Tester, or Software Tester
  • Hands-on experience testing software applications and performing functional and regression testing
  • Understanding of software development and release processes
  • Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios
  • Strong computer and digital skills with reliable internet connection for remote work
  • English proficiency for working with English-speaking teams and technical documentation
