About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and quality-focused Software Tester to evaluate software applications and ensure they function correctly, meet user requirements, and deliver a reliable user experience. The ideal candidate will have strong testing and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, document, and communicate software defects throughout the development lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities

  • Execute manual and automated tests to verify software functionality and quality
  • Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, test scripts, and testing documentation
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing
  • Identify, reproduce, document, and track software bugs and defects with clear reproduction steps
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues
  • Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and device testing when required
  • Participate in release testing, deployment validation, and user acceptance testing activities

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of software testing and quality assurance principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Experience creating, executing, and managing test cases and test scenarios
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Azure DevOps
  • Understanding of functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to document technical findings clearly
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Basic knowledge of web technologies, APIs, databases, or SQL is beneficial
