Role Overview
The Associate Data Science Manager leads data science initiatives and manages teams responsible for implementing and evolving data domains and products. This role combines technical expertise with people management and operational oversight.
Main Responsibilities
- Implement and evolve data domains and products to support company needs
- Manage daily operational activities, oversee assigned teams, and manage project implementations
- Design, develop, and implement methods and systems to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured data sets
- Collaborate with product management to create roadmaps and increase engineering team velocity
- Ensure team cohesion, motivation, and provide clear career paths
- Deliver work products consistently, on time and on budget while managing resources and recruitment needs
Key Requirements
- Master's Degree in Data Science, Computer Engineering, IT Project Management or related field
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering
- Minimum 1-2 years of project management experience
- Fluent in English and French
- Strong team-oriented, innovative, and entrepreneurial mindset with rigorous approach
