About the Role
Help train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulation tasks. You will take CAD geometry, set up and run simulations, build verified reference solutions, and write Python checks for the agent's results.
Main Responsibilities
- Set up and execute CFD simulations using industry-standard tools
- Build and verify reference solutions for fluid dynamics problems
- Develop Python-based validation checks for AI agent outputs
- Conduct mesh-independence studies and validation against experimental benchmarks
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or related field (energy, oil & gas); PhD preferred
- Several years of hands-on CFD experience with OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX, or STAR-CCM+, including meshing
- Strong verification and validation practices with mesh-independence studies
- Proficiency in Python and GitHub
- English at B2 level or above
Nice to Have
- Aerospace, automotive, offshore, or turbomachinery background
- Experience with multiphase or particle-laden flows
Project Details
Time Commitment: 10–20 hours per week during active phases (estimate only, not guaranteed)
Work Mode: Fully remote with flexible schedule; requires laptop and stable internet
Compensation: Up to $23 per hour equivalent, depending on expertise and contribution pace
Why This Opportunity
- Work remotely on your own schedule with minimal requirements
- Apply specialized expertise to real-world AI and simulation projects
- Access performance-based bonus programs for quality work and consistent delivery
