About the Role

As a Component Responsible Engineer at Bertrandt Group, you will manage vehicle antenna systems and Online Connectivity Unit (OCU) development for the automotive industry. Main Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of vehicle antenna systems and Online Connectivity Unit (OCU)
  • Review Technical Description Documents to ensure compliance with antenna and OCU requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on antenna systems, packaging, positioning, wiring, and component documentation
  • Define and align testing plans at component and vehicle levels with suppliers
  • Manage and track component modifications and engineering changes (P, B, K & BMG)
  • Ensure vehicle antenna systems comply with legal and regulatory requirements including radiofrequency emissions standards

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering
  • Solid knowledge of antenna technologies (AM/FM, GNSS, LTE, 5G, etc.)
  • Experience in Electronic Control Unit (ECU) development
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding electronic schematics
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Fluent English (minimum B2 level); German is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
