About the Role
As Director of Finance at Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche, a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel in the Accor network, you will lead all financial operations and provide strategic financial leadership to support the hotel's growth and profitability. This is a senior executive position overseeing financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and team management.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial planning and budgeting processes aligned with strategic hotel objectives, monitoring performance and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to management and ownership.
- Lead and supervise the finance team, including accountants and financial analysts, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.
- Oversee cash flow management, implement internal controls, and ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and local tax laws.
- Collaborate with revenue management to optimize pricing strategies and analyze revenue streams from room operations, food and beverage, and ancillary services.
- Manage the Owner's monthly reporting package per Hotel Management Agreement and maintain transparent communication with owners and Accor Regional Office.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with professional accounting qualification
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a hotel executive role
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and financial reporting capabilities
- Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and risk assessment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
