About the Role
Join Harmattan AI as an Electrical Engineer to design and develop advanced electronic boards and embedded systems (SoM) for UAVs, including Flight Controllers, Companion Computers, and Electronic Speed Controllers. This is a mission-critical position in a fast-growing defense technology company.
Main Responsibilities
- Design high-performance embedded systems with complex processor architectures, fast memory (DDR, Flash), and integrated peripherals
- Develop electronic schematics and perform board placement/routing while managing fast signal constraints and design specifications
- Collaborate with Mechanical and GNC departments to ensure seamless physical and sensor integration
- Address electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) challenges and ensure signal integrity across systems
- Conduct comprehensive testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electronic boards to meet operational requirements
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in complex electronic system design
- Proficiency with electronic CAD tools (e.g., Altium) and electronic test equipment
- In-depth knowledge of processors, memory domains (DDR, Flash), and embedded systems
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work autonomously on technical challenges
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Background in Robotics or Aerospace systems
