About the Role

Müller's Solutions is seeking a skilled Google Cloud Security Engineer to enhance our cloud security framework and protect critical systems and data on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will identify security vulnerabilities, implement robust security measures, and ensure compliance with industry standards while safeguarding our cloud architecture and applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage security controls and procedures for GCP services and resources
  • Perform risk assessments and security reviews to identify vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation measures
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts, events, and incidents across the cloud environment
  • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices for cloud operations
  • Implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies to control access to GCP resources effectively
  • Conduct regular security assessments and collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud security, specifically within Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, frameworks, and compliance (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
  • Experience with GCP security tools including Security Command Center, Cloud Armor, and Cloud Identity
  • Expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), data encryption, and security configurations in GCP
  • Familiarity with network security principles and solutions such as firewalls and VPNs
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for complex security scenarios
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical information to diverse audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer)
