About the Role
Provide administration and maintenance of IT hardware and software in production environments, working in conjunction with onsite and remote Delivery Teams. This is a hands-on technical support position focused on resolving incidents, managing infrastructure, and ensuring service level agreements are met.
Main Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain IT hardware and software systems in production environments
- Resolve, record, and update incident resolution details following ITIL processes for escalation and problem management
- Troubleshoot and manage site IT infrastructure including desktops, laptops, terminal servers, printers, mobile phones, and related devices
- Execute deployment of IT solutions according to specifications and procedures from the Service Delivery organization
- Monitor and coordinate first-line and Service Delivery help desk services to ensure effective user support
- Perform onsite patching, network connection maintenance, and server/router power cycling as requested
Key Skills Required
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Microsoft Operating System installation and troubleshooting expertise
- Break/Fix skills for desktops, workstations, notebooks, printers, and handheld devices
- Broad IT knowledge with understanding of networks, servers, and telecommunications
- Excellent client service and communication skills (written and verbal)
- ITIL process knowledge and incident management experience
Required Tools
- Laptop (Windows/macOS) with terminal tools (PuTTY, Teams, Anydesk) and full administrator rights
- Console cables and required adapters
- Spare patch cords/cables and basic screwdriver kit
- Cable testing tools, crimping tool, RJ45 terminators, and labelling machine
