About the Role
Provide administration and maintenance of IT hardware and software in production environments, working in conjunction with onsite and remote Delivery Teams. This is a hands-on technical support position focused on resolving incidents, managing infrastructure, and ensuring service level agreements are met.
Main Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain IT hardware and software in production environments
- Resolve, record, and update incident resolution and workflow details following ITIL processes
- Troubleshoot and manage site IT infrastructure including desktops, laptops, printers, mobile phones, and network devices
- Execute deployment of IT solutions according to specifications and procedures from the Service Delivery organization
- Monitor and coordinate first-line and Service Delivery help desk services to ensure effective user support
- Ensure incidents are resolved on-site while respecting Service Level Agreements
- Perform onsite patching, network connection patching, and power cycling of servers and routers as requested
Key Skills Required
- At least 3 years of experience in IT support or related field
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong Microsoft Operating System installation and troubleshooting capabilities
- Break/Fix expertise with desktops, workstations, notebooks, printers, and handheld devices
- Broad IT knowledge with understanding of networks, servers, and telecommunications
- Excellent client service and communication skills (written and verbal)
Required Tools
- Laptop (Windows/macOS) with terminal tools (PuTTY, Teams, Anydesk) and full administrator rights
- Console cables (RJ45-to-USB/Serial) and required adapters
- Spare patch cords/cables (5m) x 2
- Basic screwdriver kit (Phillips/flathead/torx)
- Cable testing tools for damage identification
- Crimping tool and cutter
- RJ45 terminators and labelling machine
