Role Overview

As a Maintenance Automation Expert, you will support the maintenance team in analyzing, detecting, and repairing complex equipment breakdowns while ensuring optimal production line efficiency. You will work with advanced automation technologies including PLCs, HMIs, robots, and machine vision systems.

Main Responsibilities

• Support maintenance technicians in analyzing, detecting, and repairing complex equipment breakdowns
• Support start-up and commissioning of new production lines and machinery with PLCs, HMIs, machine vision, and robots
• Review, create, and execute preventive maintenance actions
• Manage technical documentation and ensure proper equipment functioning
• Troubleshoot assembly line issues and implement process improvements
• Implement production process modifications and optimize efficiencies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electricity, Automation, or Mechatronics
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles with semi-automatic manufacturing lines
• Proficiency in PLC/HMI programming (Beckhoff systems)
• Experience with anthropomorphic robot programming (FANUC or Stäubli)
• Knowledge of machine vision systems (COGNEX, Keyence, or similar)
• Servomotor parameterization skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Fluent English communication

• Knowledge of mechanics and machine tools
• Pneumatics expertise
• Collaborative robotics experience
• SAP-PM system knowledge
