About the Role
Hexcel is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for our Casablanca, Morocco location. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal equipment performance, safety compliance, and continuous improvement in our manufacturing facility.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure machinery meets health, safety, and environmental standards
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and conduct routine inspections
- Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment performance and efficiency
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and manage plant maintenance KPI dashboards
- Train staff on safe equipment use and emergency procedures
- Liaise with external contractors and suppliers for specialized repairs
- Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 2 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
- Experience with PLCs, robotics, or advanced automation systems
- Proficiency in diagnostic tools and maintenance software (CMMS)
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities
