About the Role

Hexcel, a global leader in advanced composites technology and the world leader in honeycomb manufacturing for the commercial aerospace industry, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for our Casablanca, Morocco location. This role is central to ensuring optimal equipment performance and operational excellence in our manufacturing facility.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure machinery meets health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and conduct routine inspections and servicing of equipment
  • Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment performance and recommend upgrades or modifications to enhance efficiency
  • Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects while managing plant maintenance KPI dashboard
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation according to audit requirements
  • Train staff on safe equipment use and emergency procedures, and liaise with external contractors for specialized repairs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance with familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
  • Experience with PLCs, robotics, or advanced automation systems
  • Proficiency in diagnostic tools and maintenance software (CMMS)
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities

Candidates must be eligible to work in Morocco.
