About the Role

Hexcel, a global leader in advanced composites technology and the world leader in honeycomb manufacturing for the commercial aerospace industry, is seeking a Quality Engineer for our Casablanca, Morocco manufacturing facility. This role is central to maintaining and improving our quality management systems and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct investigations, quality projects, and statistical analysis exercises to support customer initiatives and quality improvement efforts
  • Lead or contribute to continuous improvement and site-specific quality projects aligned with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Review and support quality systems and processes to ensure the Plant QMS remains robust and identify improvement opportunities
  • Manage and troubleshoot Hexcel software systems (AX2012, Pilgrim, Velocity) for QC/QA support and customer specification compliance
  • Analyze technical requirements from contracts, drawings, and specifications to develop comprehensive product quality plans
  • Conduct internal and external audits and maintain quality documentation per customer and internal requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of applicable experience in quality departments within manufacturing industries
  • Hands-on troubleshooting abilities with mechanical equipment
  • Strong technical analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity or hands-on experience with measurement and inspection equipment
  • Knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean/Six Sigma certification or demonstrated experience
