About the Role
Hexcel, a global leader in advanced composites technology and the world leader in honeycomb manufacturing for the commercial aerospace industry, is seeking a Quality Engineer for our Casablanca, Morocco manufacturing facility. This role is central to maintaining and improving our quality management systems and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations, quality projects, and statistical analysis exercises to support customer initiatives and quality improvement efforts
- Lead or contribute to continuous improvement and site-specific quality projects aligned with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Review and support quality systems and processes to ensure the Plant QMS remains robust and identify improvement opportunities
- Manage and troubleshoot Hexcel software systems (AX2012, Pilgrim, Velocity) for QC/QA support and customer specification compliance
- Analyze technical requirements from contracts, drawings, and specifications to develop comprehensive product quality plans
- Conduct internal and external audits and maintain quality documentation per customer and internal requirements
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of applicable experience in quality departments within manufacturing industries
- Hands-on troubleshooting abilities with mechanical equipment
- Strong technical analysis and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity or hands-on experience with measurement and inspection equipment
- Knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean/Six Sigma certification or demonstrated experience
